Tribal Monsoon establishes a partnership with Worldstock, a division of Overstock.com. Through our partnership with the Worldstock program, Tribal Monsoon employs hundreds of artisans in the Indian Subcontinent, including wood craftsmen, wood carvers, carpenters, polishers, embroidery workers, block print artisans, and other types of craftsmen. Though the Worldstock program, Tribal Monsoon products reach a broad audience of American consumers.

Tribal Monsoon launches a comprehensive craft catalog featuring over 400 handicraft products from South Asia. Our print catalog professionally presents the creations of South Asian artisans with crisp clear photos, detailed product specs, and cultural facts about each product. The objective of our print craft catalog is to promote South Asia's handicrafts to wholesale craft buyers globally.
Tribal Monsoon custom makes furniture for high end Ayurvedic Spa in San Francisco's famous Union Square (2004)
As a result of our extraordinary efforts in professional customer service and custom design, we are awarded a contract to custom make all of the furniture for Kamalaspa, a high end Ayurvedic Spa in San Francisco's famous Union Square. Over 30 artisans work on this exciting project, including skilled wood carvers and carpenters, both at our factory in Islamabad and in rural parts of Northern Pakistan and Punjab.
Tribal Monsoon custom makes bedding for boutique hotels in Mexico (2006)
Through our innovative marketing and professional customer service, we custom make traditional Asian bedding for The Melville Hotel and Hotel Machado in Mexico. Over 50 artisans work on this project, including skilled embroiderers and tailors, both at our factory in Islamabad and in rural parts of the Thar Desert in southern Pakistan.

Tribal Monsoon establishes a partnership with Benson Gifts and World Imports in Biddeford, Maine. Benson Gifts and World Imports is now the official importer/distributor of Tribal Monsoon products in the USA. Benson Gifts imports container loads of merchandise from Tribal Monsoon and distributes to retailers and consumers through out the USA. With an official distributor and warehouse space in the USA, Tribal Monsoon can now reach out to more customers and employ more artisans in South Asia.
Tribal Monsoon selected to manufacture handmade gifts for Patak's Foods in the UK (2006)
Tribal Monsoon is selected to custom manufacture floor pillows and sofa throws for well known food product company, Patak's Foods, in the UK. Over 20 artisans, including embroidery artisans and tailors, work on this exciting project over the span of 3 months. Patak's Foods sends the beautiful handmade pillows and throws as gifts to their customers. Working with a well-known chain in the UK gives Tribal Monsoon credibility in the UK market and helps to strengthen our market position in the UK, leading to more work for South Asia's artisans.

Tribal Monsoon establishes partnerships and vendor relations with over 50 resellers worldwide, including retail stores in the USA, UK, Australia, Mexico, and Canada. Tribal Monsoon also formulates alliances with online retailers with a new drop ship strategy. Selected Tribal Monsoon products are now selling on Ebay, Amazon, Yahoo and on the websites of many independent online retailers. Partnerships with retail stores and online retailers worldwide help Tribal Monsoon appeal to a larger global audience and help employ several hundred more artisans.
Tribal Monsoon expresses interest to partner with NGOs in Pakistan (2007)
Tribal Monsoon expresses interest in partnering with an NGO or other socially conscious organization that has operations in Pakistan. Qualifying organizations will help us achieve our goal of economically empowering artisans by frequently visiting cottage industries and introducing and enforcing acceptable working conditions. We are looking for a partner who is committed to the cause of improving the economic conditions of artisans and helping to train them in industry best practices, including quality control, packaging, logistics, order management, and delivery. We are also interested in partnering with organizations that are already working with artisan groups in Pakistan.
